Does Government Deal From a Dirty Deck
There’s an old idiom that’s been around the block more than
once that states, no matter how hard you try “you can’t beat city hall”. This
may hold water for life on earth, but what about the afterlife, the period when
we’re all waiting for God’s final judgment to take place, when he opens the
book of life to the chapter containing you. Is he going to find you playing
with a deck of cards with five aces or four? Not being judgmental, but I would
suppose a vast majority of politicians from the national level clear down to
the local level who have been dealing politics with five aces are going to be
in for a big surprise come judgment day. Other idioms they use to justify themselves
are, “What he or she doesn’t know, won’t hurt them”, “The buck stops with me”, “Tell
them BS, not facts”. What happened to government by the people, and for the people?
Apparently the people referred to in our Constitution, are only the ones in government
only, and the others are?
