Bo Huff Car Show - East Carbon 2019

Image
Photo highlights of the 2019 Bo Huff Car Show held at the Sunnyside Park in East Carbon. The Bo Huff car show is actually a separate event from East Carbon Community daze, and not part of it, even though its all held together on the same days. Hey looky-look Lynnae Robinson and Alicia Martinez, it's a video, oh my goodness gracious! Dedicated to the ding-a-ling twins of ECC.

What Happened to the Old 3 Piece Sign in East Carbon City?

Image
Just what did happen to the iconic old 3 piece concrete EEC sign located in town on UT123? After nosing around, I managed to find its final resting place out on the golf course road. Its new function as rip-rap in a wash to help keep erosion down from flooding. Nobody from the city at that time it became missing would comment on it new location, and job. Such a travesty for the old sign, sorta like losing an old friend to prosperity.

Dash Cam Trip From Wellington, Ut to the RCWMA in the Book Cliffs

Image
This will be a dash cam video trip from Millers Travel Center in Wellington, Utah to the RCWMA (Range Creek Wildlife Management Area on top of the Book Cliff above Sunnyside. We will travel from Millers east on US6/191, through Cat Canyon to the junction with UT123. From there we will turn north to East Carbon, up Whitmore Canyon to Water Canyon, turning right to the top of the mountain. Please note to get your gas or diesel in Price, or Wellington, because you'll not like the cost if they happen to have it available in East Carbon. The other route comes up from Nine Mile Canyon and is a much better road than the route through East Carbon.

East Carbon City LDS Bishop Wigs Out After Council Meeting

Image
East Carbon City LDS Bishop Wigs Out After Council Meeting. East Carbon City, Utah, LDS Bishop wigs out of control at me for video recording the parking lot circus chaos after the local city council meeting. I never said anything to this man, but yet he takes it out on me for videoing. This is not how a bishop should act at anytime. Shame on you Jeff Palmer. Pictured with him is his wife, city council candidate Rakele Palmer trying her best to get her husband to quit and leave.

East Carbon, Utah City Employee Bob Martinez and Family Harassing Handicapped man on Hospice

Image
This video shows a East Carbon, Utah, city planning and zoning employee (Bob Martinez)and his family harassing my sister and I in front of my home. On average he make approximately 15 to 40 trips back and forth per-day, everyday. One day he made 62 trips back and forth on the block, all day long. I have video's of him dragging a floor jack behind his four-wheeler back and forth, dragging a bay-liner boat, video of him dragging a big boulder back and forth behind his truck, dragging chairs, and more. The city has been trying to get me to move, but they're not going to dictate to me into moving. I will get around to posting more harassment, soon. I reported this to the local police, but all they say is that they all have the right to do this, under the US Constitution. East Carbon City, Utah is a very strange and odd place to live. Anyone want to buy a home?

Wife of East Carbon City Councilman Don Logston Attack Neighbors

Image
The wife of East Carbon City Councilman Don Logston attacks neighbors. One of the neighbors is handicapped from an industrial accident with spinal cord damage, and also on hospice for stage D heart failure. His sister lives with him as his hospice caretaker. This all started when she was leaning through a window looking into our rear porch. We were getting ready to leave to go to a city council meeting. She claims that her property line goes through our house and that they own part of our home. She had come over and demanded that we vacate our garage, back porch, half our kitchen and living room, that they wanted to use it for storage.

East Carbon City - the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly - part 1

Image
Planning on moving to East Carbon City, Utah? Here’s some information that might just surprise you after moving here. At an elevation of just approximately under 6,000 feet, East Carbon sits at the end of UT123 in the southeastern corner of Carbon County. With a population of approximately 1,655 people, the town is relatively exempt or for a better word, void of business, except for a local store, gas station when and if you can get it, a small medical clinic, and a Taiwanese restaurant that will be closing soon. If you want to shop, Price which is approximately 30 miles away is your only choice for shopping. They have a Wall-mart, and some Mom and Pop stores. Gasoline and diesel is extremely expensive to buy here, when they happen to have it available. You will need and probably want to travel to Wellington or Price to buy it. East Carbon has a major water problem. Basically there isn’t any, as our very small reservoir has no volume to it, and the creek that supplies it isn’t ve...

Stcks and Stones

Image
This might be basically a national problem and concern, but certainly reflects onto us; we the people who reside in the political basement of this country; at the local level of government. This repetition of a ridiculous ideological comparison claim of Nazism with POTUS, has greatly gone too far by the far left. Not only is this morally wrong and a “Reduction ad Hitler-um”, it should never take place in a supposedly modern “civilized” society like ours. Recent attacks on Donald Trump have now included, creating concentration camps, placement of cremation ovens, photo-shopped images of POTUS dressed as an SS officer, standing with Hitler, and so on and on. Recent news with what used to be major icons from the left seems to be on a runaway bullet train headed for self destruction. The damage from such human degradation is not fixable on a world stage. This repetition compulsion ideology is filtering down to the bottom steps of the political latter and onto the floor ...

When the Public Trust in East Carbon Derails - part 1

Image
What exactly is the trust in local Government? This can be referring to the Federal Government, but in this post, we’ll be targeting local Government here in East Carbon. It’s a firm belief in Government things like, management, transparency, diplomacy, strength, and so forth. Different issues that will ruin or derail trust in your local Government could be demographic declines, partisan changes, annual highs and lows, and so forth. The same hold true for all types and sizes of Government, including Corporate or Organizational. Do you trust your Government or can they be trusted? Only you and your hair dresser know for sure. Effective governing is seen as a key factor for the restoring of the public trust, associating "good governing" with responsiveness, accountability, and the ability to listen to the citizen’s needs, not just a minority of certain people and friends. Now we’re going to pick on east Carbon City. The term entitling “the people” refers to all, everyone with...
