East Carbon City, Utah - No Change After Election

I told myself that if this issue with the East Carbon City Treasurer Jason Jogensen and his publicly published and transmitted fabricated lie of my sister and I being Married and having sex, on the public facebook group forum “Letter to the Editor and other news from Carbon County Citizens”, would get round filed, or even swept under the carpet, that I would definitely do something legally about it. It has been months later and finally after five emails sent to East Carbon City Mayor Carolyn Abeyta, I finally received a response not only from her but also from the city attorney Christian Bryner, too. Just as we thought, they both stated that no more would be said about the incident and it would be handled in-house only. Well, mayor Abeyta, and city attorney Bryner, it’s not over, not by a long shot. If this would’ve happened to a private citizen, it would be called defamation and I believe that’s the legal title for it, right Mrs Abeyta, and Mr Bryner? Ring a bell? What about like comments made publicly from newly elected councilman Grant Neath, P&Z employees and former councilmen? These people are not all Betty Crocker, and JP Morgan. Does executive privilege concerning official misconduct hold true for, obstruction, abuse of power, abuse of authority, ethics, cronyism, and failure to discipline a city official or employee also apply to small fries like town mayors and retinue, too? I remember words like, honesty, transparency, public concern, and we will always be there for you the citizen, spoken during the election campaign with conviction, but apparently were only idioms utilized from South Ogden used car dealerships.
